Double sedan chair, also called litter, late 18th century. Boat-shaped box in painted wood forming a decoration of horns and flowered baskets, as well as coats of arms on a blue background. It opens with two full-height side doors with babbit handles. Interior as is with two seats for one person facing each other, upholstered in fabric and with six windows. Eight iron loops for the passage of four stretchers. Roof lined with leather as is. Car made for mountain paths and transporting women, old people and the sick. Most often worn by a pair of mules. Some restorations to the painting, the rest as is. Dimensions: L164 x H155 x D83 cm.
