About
Louis XV transitional chest of drawers without crossbar, mounted on oak. The sides are entirely inlaid with rosewood, palisander, and various fruitwoods. Marquetry composed of diamonds and a central medallion depicting a village and its castle. Chiseled and gilded bronze decoration, with drops in the corners and an Accanthus-effect vase decoration on the apron. Top in yellow Breccia de Medous marble from the Pyrenees. Dimensions: W123 x H87 x D54 cm.
