Patinated bronze of \"Alexander the Great on his horse Bucephalus,\" a reproduction of the original in Rome s Villa Giulia Museum (limited edition), probably cast by Chiurazzi s workshop. This Etruscan-era sculpture first appeared in the Castellani collection in Rome in the 19th century. Although small in size, special permission was granted to cast larger copies. In Italy, it was common to reproduce antiquities unearthed from excavations. Since this process served as a benchmark, their production was limited, thus preserving their quality of execution.
