Marc Mazuir — opera singer and professional vocal coach

“Opera has been part of my life since childhood. As an adult, I performed major baritone roles on numerous European stages and developed a vocal method accessible to everyone.

While the art of the voice lies at the center of my life, I have always passionately practiced other artistic forms of expression such as writing, photography, drawing, and painting. All these disciplines interact and enrich one another.»

One day, when my voice had temporarily left me, I began imagining collage artworks made of origami paper boats in the colors of Switzerland — its flag, mountains, and lakes. Later came the cows, those peaceful animals that give us so much and that I particularly admire.

This led me to create a series of stylized and colorful cow heads inspired by themes such as our national currency and one of our proudest symbols — Swiss watches — all placed at the center of structured backgrounds made from recycled Nespresso capsules… Because Switzerland is all of this.”
